Trish Ledoux Yoshida is an editor, translator, and educator whose career traces back to the early formation of the English-language manga and anime industry. As a founding editor of Animerica at VIZ Media, she helped establish one of the first major professional anime publications in the United States.

She spent 13 years at VIZ Media and more than nine years at The Pokémon Company International, working across manga editing, translation, and anime localization during periods of significant growth in the global market.

Her work includes English adaptations of anime such as Fatal Fury and Darkstalkers, as well as subtitling for Japanese theatrical films including ラジオの時間 (Welcome Back, Mr. McDonald). She is also known for her work with the titles of Rumiko Takahashi and Leiji Matsumoto, whose influence helped shape her path into the industry.

In addition to her production work, she is the author of books on anime and manga and has taught Japanese at both the high school and college levels, with a focus on practical language use and communication.

She is currently involved in new English-language manga releases with Manga Mavericks Books, including Horon of the Closed Country and FISHGOD, continuing her long-standing work bringing Japanese and Japanese-inspired storytelling to new audiences.

She has been a guest at conventions across the United States, including Animazement, where she first appeared in 2006.
