Fayetteville Okinawa Kenjinkai is the Okinawan cultural group founded in 1996. The traditional performing art Eisa group, “Kafuu-Daiko”, was established in 1999 by the members of the Okinawa Kenjinkai. It was nurtured by younger generation of Okinawa Kenjinkai members.

It started performing in and out of the Fayetteville area as well as at private functions to advocate Okinawan culture not only to the younger generation of Okinawa Kenjinkai club members, but also to the local community.
