JP Yates

Image

JP Yates has been in international education since 1998, and has lived in China, Vietnam, and of course Japan (and visited 86 additional countries to work with students). He has served as the head of admissions at several institutions (including Temple University, Japan Campus), and now helps students find their best fit university...no matter where in the world that may be. He is the Director of College Counseling and International Student Services at Seacrest Country Day School. He talked so much about studying and working in Japan over the last decade and a half that his older children have returned to Japan to both work and study. He is always happy to share his journey and mistakes in the hope that others can also have great experiences (and make all new and interesting mistakes!).
